I’ve been doing festive activities with my husband ever since we first started dating. I was introduced to this cute idea by my good friend, Blanka. (Thanks girl!)

Each year on December 1st my husband would receive a Christmas riddle, which would contain a small surprise or fun activity to get us in the festive mood. And each day leading up to Christmas Eve, he would receive a new one.

But the reality was, that having to think of the riddles while adjusting each surprise to our ever-changing schedule in the busy month of December… I failed to keep up the daily pace.

But my enthusiasm was unbreakable. Each year I would restart, and come up with new activities or small DIYs for him.

I enjoyed seeing the child-like anticipation in his eyes so much!

And then on a cozy January afternoon the idea hit me…

Why not make an evergreen advent calendar that every Christmas-enthusiast could enjoy all over the world?

I immediately started sketching up the idea, and presented them to my sister-in-law, Eszter Péterfay. She’s not only a talented artist, but also a skilled graphic designer. She created the beautiful pattern of the cards, that make the whole experience complete.

And this is how MerryLittleFeeling was born.:)
